Wm. Ritchie Pigue joined Taylor, Pigue, Marchetti & Blair in 1974. He is the firm's Senior Partner and focuses his practice on insurance defense, premises liability, products liability, employment law, and workers' compensation. He represents a wide range of self-insured clients and insurance companies and he handles cases at the trial and appellate level in both state and federal courts.
Ritchie has been an active member of The Federation of Defense & Corporate Counsel and is past President of the Tennessee Defense Lawyers' Association. With forty years of experience as a trial lawyer, Ritchie has successfully argued hundreds of jury and bench trials throughout Tennessee on behalf of plaintiffs and defendants, insurance companies and their insureds. He has been a featured speaker for professional groups and organizations on the topics of tort and workers’ compensation law.
Wm. Ritchie Pigue was admitted to the Tennessee Bar in 1974. He received his undergraduate degree from Western Kentucky University in 1971, and received his law degree from Memphis State University's Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law in 1974.
